Oh my Brother!!!

“You can’t live with them and you can’t live without them”

Brothers are among those people in your life. It is often said that a girl can completely rely only on one man that is her dad. But for me my brother is also the one whom I can trust completely. A brother is a person with whom you spend most of your time laughing, fighting, teasing, sharing secrets and who is you first best friend. It is the best thing that can happen to a girl.

He is the person you approach whenever you have a problem. Like fathers, brothers too loves their sisters unconditionally. And as you grow older this bond gets stronger and stronger.

Today on my brother’s birthday I dedicate 15 reasons why it is amazing to have a brother.

1. The Bodyguard

He might fight with you but he’ll make sure no one hurts you in any way, physically or mentally. Like a lion to its cubs, brothers tend to be very protective when it comes to the well-being of their sisters. He’ll jump to your aid whenever required playing your bodyguard and your knight in shining armor long before Prince Charming decided to show up in a single package. 

2. Your Secret is safe

He’ll know all your secrets from the men in your life to the all the mischiefs you did. He’ll know everything about you and while he teases you, he remains tights-lipped in front of others.

3. The constant friend

You can call him anytime and he’ll always be there to listen to you. You can talk to him about anything and you can pick up anytime, even though if you haven’t talked in weeks. He is your constant friend who will be never busy for you.

4. The Fighter

A brother-sister relationship is never complete without silly fights, cute grudges and heated arguments. But at end of the day they find their ways back to each other as if nothing ever happened. 

5. Lots of gifts

Brother = lots of gifts.

He’ll never forget to gift you things you wanted for so long occasionally.

6. Your personal adviser

He’s always there when you need advice and will give you an unbiased opinion. He’s the solution to all your problems.

Which laptop or smart phone to buy? Brothers will save you from the confusion as they know all about it and you can trust him blindly for his choice.

8. Help understand boys.

He’s the one who will tell you all you need to know about boys. He’ll teach you all the tricks that guys use and how you should be treated by a guy.

He’s like a big teddy bear for you. Whether you are sad, in a bad mood and worst of all shedding tears, he always know how to cheer you up and make you smile.

10. Biggest supporter

He’s always there for you and supports you in all the ups and downs of your life. He keeps telling you how proud he’s of you and keeps bragging about you to his friends.

11. He’ll always have your back

He’ll defend you when your parents are yelling at you for something you did wrong and may even take some blame to save you. 

12. He knows inside out.

He knows you better than anyone else. He knows all your likes, dislikes, your habits, stubbornness, what will make you mad, what will make you happy, your favorite moments, food, color name anything and he’ll know it all. No one knows you better than him.

He loves you unconditionally despite knowing all your flaws. You may be your daddy’s sweet little angle but I bet, he doesn’t know even half of the stuffs you have really been up to, whereas your brother definitely knows the devil you are. But no matter what, he loves you the way you are.

They may tease you or may drive you crazy but they will always love you. So who needs a super hero if we have brothers?
